Breast reduction for symptomatic breast hypertrophy

This 73 year old patient presented for breast reduction to help alleviate her symptoms of back pain which had been present and worsening for over 10 years. She underwent a bilateral breast reduction utilizing an inferior pedicle to allow for maximal breast tissue removal while maintaining nipple sensation with a wise pattern (anchor-shaped) skin resection. She is pictured here at 3 months postop.
